The third theme of the Healthy Kids Community Challenge was, Choose to Boost Veggies and Fruit. This theme encourages kids and families to reach for more vegetables and fruit.

Why should we choose to boost veggies and fruit?

 

How many veggies and fruits do kids need?

Canada’s Food Guide recommends children aged 2-13 years old eat 4 to 6 servings of veggies and fruit each day, however, we know kids often fall short of this goal.
